01What’s in your set

Every Flaira unstitched suit set is a complete outfit in three pieces. The exact fabric, colour, work and details of each set are listed on its product page.

PieceWhat it usually is
Kurta fabricThe statement piece — soft cotton or textured woven fabric, often with embroidery or a scalloped border
Bottom fabricMatching or coordinated fabric for salwar, straight pants or palazzo
DupattaA light dupatta, often with lace or embroidered detailing, to finish the look

02Is the fabric enough for my style?

Our suit sets are cut for regular straight and A-line kurta styles in standard sizes. Very long, heavily flared (anarkali) or full-sleeve styles, and larger sizes, may need more fabric — so plan the style with your tailor once you have the fabric in hand.

Ask your tailor to measure every piece before cutting, so the design can be planned around the border, embroidery or motif. If the fabric seems short, message us before cutting — once fabric is cut it can’t be exchanged.

03Style ideas

  • Straight kurta + straight pants — clean and modern, perfect for office and daytime.
  • A-line kurta + palazzo — relaxed and breezy for summer and family get-togethers.
  • Kurta + salwar with the dupatta on one shoulder — a classic, festive look.
  • Short kurta + cigarette pants — a fresh, younger take for everyday wear.

04Prepare the fabric before stitching

  1. Record your unboxing video and check every piece as soon as your parcel arrives.
  2. Give cotton and mul fabric a gentle soak in cold water and dry it in the shade, so any shrinkage happens before it is cut.
  3. Wash the dupatta separately the first time, especially deep shades and lace borders.
  4. Iron on low to medium heat on the reverse side before handing it to your tailor.

05What to tell your tailor

  • Your bust, waist, hip, shoulder and armhole, plus the kurta and sleeve length you like. Our Size Guide shows how to measure.
  • Where you want the border or embroidery placed — at the hem, neckline or sleeves.
  • Your preferred neckline, slit and sleeve style, and whether you want lining.
  • To leave a little seam allowance so the suit can be altered later if needed.

06Lining & finishing

Light cotton and mul fabrics can look slightly sheer in bright daylight. A soft cotton lining gives a cleaner fall and more comfort. Lining fabric is not included unless it is mentioned on the product page.

07Exchanges & returns for suit material

Unstitched suit sets can be exchanged or returned within 4 days of delivery with your unboxing video, as long as the fabric is uncut, unstitched and unwashed and in its original fold with all three pieces. Fabric that has been cut, washed or stitched can’t be returned. Approved returns are refunded as store credit. See our Returns, Exchange & Refund Policy.
